The state Department of Education took over the Logan County school system back in October. Logan County Superintendent Jeff Huffman provided the board with an update on July 12, regarding the deficiencies found in the Logan County Schools Special Circumstance Review Report. Logan County school officials and the West Virginia Board of Education met in Charleston last week to make sure the county is still making the right strides ever since the shakeup last year. ![]()
